Our History

Foxtons is the original property industry disrupter. Over 4 decades, we’ve pioneered new technology, built London’s number 1 estate agency brand and delivered the results that matter most – getting it done for our clients and customers.

1981

It all begins in Notting Hill Gate. The first Foxtons office opens its doors, ready to shake up the industry.

1991

Not content just to be the best, we have to look the best too. In a bold brand refresh, we introduce the soon-to-be iconic Foxtons roundel.

1992

Our partner firm, Alexander Hall mortgage advisers open their doors, turning our business into a one-stop shop for Londoners' property needs.

2001

We move into our new state-of-the-art Headquarters in Chiswick Park, and the exceptional ‘Italian Job’ branded MINI hits the streets of London.

2008

Foxtons.co.uk gets a major upgrade that sets a new standard in property tech, dominating the online estate agency space and scooping up industry awards.

2014

We launch the ‘Anniversary’ edition of our iconic branded MINI. This design is so popular, it stays with us for the next ten years.

2022

We unveil our powerful new brand statement – our guarantee – WE GET IT DONE.

2023

We reclaim our title as London’s number 1 estate agency brand. Our first Electric branded MINI hits the streets, paving the way for our EV100 commitment.

2024

We begin our new community partnership with Single Homeless Project, the largest London-focused homelessness charity.
