Cyber Security Analyst

About The Role
The Cyber Security function is responsible for ensuring the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of our computer systems and sensitive information. The primary responsibility of the Cyber Security Analyst is to assist the Cyber Security Manger in day-to-day security monitoring activities, ensuring that security controls on existing systems are being maintained and defining security controls for new systems being introduced into the business.
 
You will support the Foxtons IT and business teams in resolving security issues and managing threats in an assured and optimal way, by creating and maintaining a positive security environment and culture. You will optimise security to add value and protect the brand, enabling the company to retain its trusted position with its investors, customers, employees and regulators.
 
The successful Candidate must have an analytical mind and a good understand of security controls and requirements, but will also have a pragmatic approach to security and be able to explain to the other colleagues why we put these controls in place.

LOCATION:
 
Our stunning Chiswick Park headquarters. Chiswick Business Park is built around a lake and offers weekly events such as food festivals, zip-lining and beach volleyball in the summer.
About You
VITAL SKILLS:
 
  • Analytical thinking
  • Understanding of security threats & vulnerabilities
  • Knowledge of security technologies such as Firewall, Intrusion Detection, Anti-malware, Content filter, DLP, etc. 
  • Secure Development & testing
  • Incident analysis & response
  • A passion for cyber security & keen interest in IT
DESIRED SKILLS:
 
  • Understanding of security standards & regulations (ISO27001, PCI DSS, GDPR)
  • Penetration testing
  • Experience of working in Dynamic environments
  • CISSP, CEH
  • Working with 3rd Party SOC teams
