About The Role

As the Lettings Accounts Quality Inspector you will undertake the important role of auditing transactions between Foxtons, our customers, and third-party suppliers. This means you will have sole responsibility for checking and verifying all international payments, same day payments, and tenant refunds before these funds are released. As an independent auditor you will also spot check a sample of landlord and supplier payments to ensure all processes have been correctly followed. Working closely with the Property Management department, you will check changes to landlord bank details and update landlord address details to ensure accurate information is provided to HMRC.

About You

We require the successful candidate to either have a degree in Accounting and Finance with at least a six months’ accounting experience or a degree unrelated to Accounting and Finance but at least one year accounting experience. We will also welcome applications from non-graduate with two to three years’ experience in an accounting function. In addition, you will have a strong mathematical aptitude, familiarity with Excel and accounting databases, exceptional attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Our Property Management and Accounts department manages circa 22,000 tenancies so you must also enjoy working in a lively and fast-paced environment in a highly service-driven industry.
