As our Marketing Copywriter you will be responsible for ensuring our brand narrative is communicated effectively through B2B and B2C channels. This role will work closely with key subject matter experts and departments across the business in order to create commentary based on business and industry insights. The role is pivotal in driving customer actions by executing our content strategy through taking data, comment and opinion, then crafting them into compelling stories and newsworthy content. From assisting with annual report copy to updating and creating content for ongoing marketing activities, this role offers a wide variety of copywriting opportunities. You will know how to turn data insights into compelling stories, extract opinion and turn it into enticing content, write emails that move the customer to the next step, create copy that converts and write blogs that inspire.

This role reports into the Head of Brand and Content and requires the ability to work in a dynamic environment, managing a variety of different content requests at any one time. Sitting within a busy marketing team, effective communication is required at every level of both Foxtons and Alexander Hall.

The Marketing Copywriter will also work alongside several areas of the marketing team, including our Data Services and Production teams.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Turning high level data insights from our Data Services department into interesting and creative commentary for use in externally published reports and whitepapers for both B2B and B2C audiences.
• Copywriting for a variety of marketing assets e.g. market reports and whitepapers, thought leadership articles, pitch presentations, case studies, webpages, digital newsletters, blog articles and video scripts.
• Researching subjects and interviewing subject matter experts across the business and turning their insightful comments and opinions into enticing and creative content and commentary.
• Writing content for the purpose of selling ideas to industry and consumer press, with the aim of having Foxtons featured in key publications.
• Assisting with copywriting for the Foxtons Group annual report.
• Generating website content, proofing and editing copy ad hoc for Foxtons.co.uk, written according to brand guidelines and SEO optimised, ensuring a consistent narrative and proactively evolving the brand positioning strategy.
• Write copy which helps sell both the Foxtons core service, as well as complementary products and services which enhance the customer experience and increase cross-sell and up-sell conversion rates
• Copywriting for CRM activities for multiple audiences against varied business goals – including monthly newsletters, acquisition and retention campaigns, across four main segments (Sellers, Buyers, Landlords, and Tenants).
• Produce and update printed and digital marketing material for use by the branches and sales teams.
• Support the Brand and Content team in developing PR relationships and selling-in Foxtons content.
• Collaborate with internal teams, agencies and third party partnerships to deliver targeted campaign copy across all marketing channels.
 
COVID-19 considerations:
 
Interviews will take place remotely.
The team are currently operating from home but this position will be office based & require travel into the office (W4 5BE) once restrictions are lifted.

About You
• Minimum three years’ experience in a similar copywriting/communications role
• Demonstrable experience of copywriting to meet a range of outcomes, for example PR coverage, award submissions, thought leadership articles, email communications, brand building, web and social content etc
• Journalism degree is preferable
• Previous work experience in media/journalist role is a plus
• Experience in working with a variety of teams and key stakeholders within an organisation
• Strong experience in copywriting for PR
• Experience in digital copywriting optimised for SEO and conversion rate optimisation
• Genuine interest of, and/or experience within, the property sector
• Exceptional editorial and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience using Google Analytics to review content performance
